Vet Clinic - Consultation
£5 Donation – Affordable vet consultations to help those on low income access essential vet care.
Service Description
Our £5 donation vet consultations are to help pet owners on low incomes access essential veterinary care without the financial burden. We understand that vet bills can be overwhelming, and in today’s cost-of-living crisis, some people are faced with heartbreaking choices between caring for their beloved pets and meeting their own basic needs. That’s where we step in. As a small, local RSPCA branch covering Sunderland, Hartlepool, and South Tyneside, we fund monthly pop-up vet clinics in communities across our region. For just £5, owners can bring their pet for a professional consultation and full health check with a qualified vet — a service that would usually cost around £60. These clinics are ideal for: Those receiving means-tested benefits or on low incomes People with concerns about their pet’s health but unable to afford a standard vet appointment Owners of elderly or rescue animals needing regular check-ups Anyone unsure whether their pet needs further treatment Booking a £5 vet consultation not only ensures your pet gets the care they need, but also helps us reach more animals and people in need. Every consultation is part of our mission to prevent suffering and keep pets healthy and happy, right where they belong — with their loving families. Places are limited, and clinics often fill up fast, so we encourage early booking to avoid disappointment.
