We are the RSPCA Sunderland, Hartlepool and South Tyneside Branch, a small, local, independent charity working to support animals within the areas of Sunderland, Hartlepool, South Tyneside and pockets of County Durham and Gateshead. Although we work closely with the RSPCA National Society, we are a completely separate charity relying on the generosity of local donors.

Our small branch is funding veterinary clinics throughout 2025, all upcoming clinics and locations will be posted below once they have been confirmed. Please read booking instructions carefully.
RSPCA Sunderland, Hartlepool, and South Tyneside Branch - Health Check Clinics
We understand that veterinary costs can be a barrier for pet owners on low income, which is why we're partnering with local vets to fund free health check clinics in 2025. If you're facing financial difficulties and need help accessing essential veterinary care for your beloved pet, these clinics are designed for you. To book an appointment and learn more about the eligibility criteria, please see the information below. Let's work together to keep our furry friends healthy and happy!

Our clinics are being held for those who are not able to afford veterinary checks for their animals, you may be asked to show proof of benefits or low income upon attending a clinic.
