Ever wondered what we do with your donations to the branch?
Hugo was found at his owner’s property in September 2015, he was very underweight, had a large lump on the back of his neck which he had not had vet treatment for and had matted fur.
He was living in unsuitable conditions which were dirty and wet.
His owner was issued with a warning notice to improve things for Hugo but unfortunately did not do this so Hugo was removed and taken in by the RSPCA.
RSPCA Inspector Cathy Richardson said: “Hugo was very nervous when he first came to us but has came on leaps and bounds since then, he now loves going for walks, playing with other dogs and has a real personality!
“He has gained weight, and is now on a special diet for the rest of his life as he has a sensitive stomach. He has had an operation to have the lump on his neck removed and had a lot of grooming, training and TLC.”
We wouldn’t be able to help animals like this without your generous donations.
