Rebecca Furness, Branch Chair.

Rebecca joined the board in October 2017.  We have a brand new Chair of the Board of Trustees for our Branch. The lovely Rebecca Furness only joined our Branch in 2017 but her enthusiasm and passion for animals have already made such an impact on our team. David Entwisle, Branch Treasurer.

David joined the board on 26-05-2011.  David is one of our longest-standing trustees who has been a trustee for our branch for 10 years, and in 5 of those years, he even steered the branch as our Chair.  David has a background in finance administration and in his own words ‘70 plus years of common sense’ so he is a great help to us not only on the business side of things but also has a passion for all things animal.  Find out more about David on our  Blog page.

Jackie Lewis, Office Line Manager & Welfare Coordinator.

Jackie joined the board on 25-10-2015.  Jackie has been an active volunteer and Trustee for our branch for over 5 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise with animal behaviour gained from over 35 years of experience working with animals. Jackie’s passion for animal behaviour and care is a testament to her commitment to our branch and position as a true ambassador for our branch’s values. Jackie has been an active volunteer and Trustee for our branch for over 5 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise with animal behaviour gained from over 35 years of experience working with animals. Jackie holds an associate membership with the Professional Dog Trainer Association and leads dog obedience classes and behaviour modification sessions with clients. Jackie’s passion for animal behaviour and care is a testament to her commitment to our branch and position as a true ambassador for our branches values.

    Beth Cronin, Branch Secretary and Marketing Coordinator.

    Beth joined the board in February 2018.  Originally from rural Northumberland, Beth has always been a big animal lover and passionate about animal welfare. She brings to the board experience in marketing, website development and copywriting, advertising and social media management from her position as an Account Manager at a busy full-service agency, where she has also gained a Diploma in Digital Marketing. She hopes to combine her experience and love of animals to help raise the profile of the branch, add to fundraising income from events and activities and contribute to meeting the branch’s overall aims and objectives.  Find out more about Beth on our Blog page.

    Caron Cook, Branch Trustee.

    Caron joined in 2018. Caron is very passionate about animal welfare. With a background in service development and project management Caron supports all-new branch developments and actively promotes the branch mission statement and values.

    Jean Young, Branch Trustee.

    Jean joined in 2018. Jean is very creative, making various art and craft items, having run her own cattery many years ago, and has been a true entrepreneur during her life.  Now retired but still very active and committed to animal welfare.    Find out more about Jean on our Blog page
